Jamie Ellul, creative director at Supple Studios said that the games were chosen not only based on the ability to obtain the appropriate rights, but wether the game was groundbreaking in some way but also with consideration for which ones were actually available to UK gamers at the time of its original release.
The presentation pack is written by the legendary games journalist Julian ‘Jaz’ Rignall and includes all eight Stamps including a Tomb Raider Miniature Sheet.

The Worms imagery is taken from this classic 2D video game developed by Team17 and released in 1995. It is the first game in the Worms series of games.
The Wipeout imagery is taken the futuristic racing game developed originally by Psygnosis now known as Sony Studio Liverpool.
The Sensible Soccer imagery is from the legendary football game created by Sensible Software in 1992.
The Populous imagery is taken from the highly acclaimed god game developed by Bullfrog Productions and published by Electronic Arts in 1989.
The Micro Machines imagery is taken from this classic racing game developed by Codemasters in 1991.
The Elite imagery is taken from the all time classic space trading game, developed by David Braben and Ian Bell and originally published by Acornsoft for the BBC Micro and Acorn Electron computers in 1984.
