CGE 2012 - The History of Q*bert - Warren Davis

Warren Davis tells the creation story of Q*bert - one of the most successful games from the golden age of arcade videogames. Q*bert also became a licensing hit with tons of merchandise and appearances in "Wreck-It Ralph" and "Pixels." Working for Gottlieb, later Mylstar (or Ratslime as Warren called it), Warren has a lot of fun anecdotes to tell and is joined by David Thiel (audio engineer) at the end. Warren also shows some original low-res photos and even an internal Gottlieb video from the 80ies.
