So I've always wondered, does that entire 'cartridge' slide into the PSP, or do you remove the disc from that white thing first?

The whole thing goes in.  The plastic case has an opening where the PSP laser reads the UMD.  The case is essentially designed to keep the disc safe.  Here are some pictures:

These cases can actually be taken apart and you can replace them if they break.  You can usually tell someone has done this (Game Stop does this) because the cases they use are completely clear.

I see, that's interesting.

I need to redo the pictures of my portable Nintendo systems to post them here as well.

Great information and an Outstanding collection, TrekMD! The PSP is becoming my favorite handheld of all time.

You have some great titles. I have looked at several PSP lists but never noticed some of those titles. Pictures really help! :113:

The PSP became my second hand held system and it is definitely a favorite of mine.  Of course the Lynx remains firmly at position #1.  :)  I ended up getting the Nintendo DS and GBA later but I'm not as impressed by them; hence, I have a smaller game library for them.

Ahh I loved the GBA as it always reminded me of having a Snes in your pocket but allot more, GBA I hold dear to my heart as a lassie console, maybe give it a bigger chance , I'll draft up a list of great and exclusive games you may not of played before :)

Great game additions! It all looks great but I am biased towards your Sega Genesis Collection. Very Nice!!!

TrekMD

Thanks Ice!  I just updated the Intellivision and Genesis collections as well.

To quote the narrator from SpongeBob SquarePants " Two Days Later".    :78:  I kid!!!!

Great stuff. Worm Whomper for Intellivision is on my want list. Nice Find!

I have always wanted a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Arcade Stick. That is cool! :77:

TrekMD

Don't tell me you're on dial-up!  LOL

Worm Whomper is great and it was a nice find indeed.  It isn't complete as it doesn't have a box but it is complete enough.  ;)  Maybe I should see if I can find a box by itself.

I wanted to get the 6-button arcade stick but they are rare (at least here), so I went ahead with the 3-button version.

No dial up. So many hi-res pictures to load on screen.

Worm Whomper looks great and the 3-button arcade stick is fine in my book. Most of the Genesis games only require the 3 buttons.

I think I'm spoiled with my 50 Mbps!  :)
