Back in 2012 David Crane, one of the Activision founders and known as the creator of Pitfall! and many other classic videogames, developed plans to bring a new game called Jungle Adventure to PCs, Macs, Linux and the OUYA console. This would have been an updated 2.5-D version of Pitfall! with modern graphics and new challenges, including an alien spaceship hidden at the lowest levels of the cavern, complete with high-tech booby traps. The Kickstarter campaign was launched on August 11, 2012 at the Classic Gaming Expo in Las Vegas but ultimately failed to reach its funding goal. This video is the original launch presentation, including some early art work and other collateral. The other two gentlemen in the video are John vanSuchtelen (Nickelodeon/Viacom) and David Bergantino (THQ, Disney etc.).
