RIP - Curt Vendel
« on: August 31, 2020, 22:05:04 PM »
I am shocked to learn Curt has passed away, I have had the please to speak with him a few times during my dealings with Atari related things for RVG.  Curt has contributed massively to the retro scene and will be missed by us all.

OMG, when did this happen?  I had the chance to meet Curt at the last CGE in Vegas.  Very nice guy but he did have many health issues.  That is what kept delaying the XM (I think he had something like 7 or 8 surgeries for his heart issues).

RIP Curt.  You'll be missed.

If anyone can, a GoFundMe has been started to help pay for Curt's daughter's education:  Curt Vendel Memorial Fund - Madison’s Education
