Part 1: Consoles

Commando was a massive smash hit in the arcades and the game that really put the now legendary Capcom on the map and inspired a string of clones and sequels.

It's classic drum driven music is now very well known but the question is which home console did the best rendition of it?

The 7800!  The POKEY just nails it!  :)  I have to say that I'm quite impressed with the Intellivision version, though.

Makes you wish every 7800 had a POKEY chip in it!  ;)

Brilliant 7800 version, Love it. I agree with TrekMD on the Intellivision version too, very impressed with it.

I want to say Intellivision because that is the only one I own but the Atari 7800 gets my vote.

Probably the most impressive Intellivision game I have seen, especially music wise.

I was very impressed with this game when I saw it on the Intellivisions.  It can compete well with any other home version out there.
