It's a great list but I'm still not sure if I will get one. A lot of these games are on the PS3/360 Genesis collection which I already have and there's also the newer collection for PS4/One/Switch that can be picked up for pretty cheap. If I do get one I'll probably wait for a sale.

Looks like the Japanese version of this is better than what we're getting in the US.  This Japanese version doesn't seem to have as bad sound lag and it comes with a very nice surprise if you buy the Tower of Power accessories.  Check out this video from Retro Core...
