reBOOTed - Atari Jaguar Game Compilation

reBOOTed is a new compilation of seven Atari Jaguar games released by Reboot over the last decade, all of which have been given an update with new graphics, music and other additions such as Pro Controller support and cartridge saves.

Some of these titles never had a physical release while others were only available on Jaguar CD or in extremely limited runs due to production costs.


Featuring 16+ megabytes spanning 10 years of Reboot homebrew titles on a single 6 megabyte cartridge containing:

Beebris: Special Edition
- Code: L. Staveley

- Artwork: Sonik

Downfall: OG PLUS
- Code: L. Staveley
- Music: MsG-RG
- Artwork: Neo-RG
- All the features of the limited edition Downfall+ release, crammed into the original game

HMS Raptor - Oxygenated
- Code: L. Staveley
- Music: MsG-RG
- Original and arranged artwork by Marss
   - Underwater... based on artwork by Ansimuz
   - Sky... based on artwork by Pixel Boy

Kobayashi Maru - Redux
- Code: L. Staveley
- Music: MsG-RG
- Artwork Completely redesigned by Ander Lex
- Additional level added

Rocketeer: Rebooted
- Code: L. Staveley
- Music: MsG-RG
- Artwork Completely redesigned by Ander Lex
- 8 all new animated backdrops replace the original 4 static images
- Completely new instructional sequence

Expressway: Re-Expressed
- Code: L. Staveley
- Music: MsG-RG
- Artwork Completely redesigned by Ander Lex

Rocks Off! (Again)
- Code: L. Staveley
- Music: MsG-RG
- Artwork supplied by opengameart.org

The cartridge also contains:
- Reboot's "JAGTOPIA" system for booting un-encrypted CD titles and
- BJL homebrew loader from 42Bastian Schick allowing code upload with a cable

Thats super cool.
The idea is cool but, apart from Downfall I can’t say the rest justify the cost for me. I do like the concept of pulling together all his work though.
For the record, Alien verses Predator on the Atari Jaguar holds a Guinness World Record!

Looks like the game are being enhanced for this release, though.  I'm sure we'll see more as the release gets closer.
