Richard Dickinson dies.

Rick Dickinson died yesterday in the US after a battle against cancer.

Dickinson designed the classic Sinclair home computers of the '80s, including the ZX80, ZX81 and the ZX Spectrum. He also designed the much maligned Gizmondo handheld and many other products most of us would recognise.

Sadly we never got around to completing an interview I had agreed with him sometime ago but he was a pleasure to chat to, humble and open which marks him as one of the good guys in my books.

Thoughts to his family and friends. RIP SIR
