I don't know why I never thought about having this kind of thread to keep you updated on what's to come, so here's some news!

- First, we would like to thank all the people supporting us (and particularly the people at retro video gamer for this forum!) and the kind comments on our books. We have taken your remarks into account (mostly about the translation, which I admit, is sometimes strange). The next books will be much better in terms of grammar, and at least as good in terms of content.

- We are currently working on several deals to make our books available in shops throughout the UK and the US, so before we can publish any new title, we want to have these deals finalized. It's only a matter of days, so expect some big annoucements soon!

Let's start with our first update:

We've had a big meeting at the Pix'n Love HQ yesterday to talk about the future (wow, that sounds serious!) and we thought we should update you whenever we can about what's going on, whether it's good or bad and be completely honest with you.

First, let me start by apologizing for the delays in the publication of the History of Sonic, the History of Mario and the Gunpei Yokoi book.
- We've had quite a big situation to face, something very serious and of course unexpected, which basically prevented us from considering any new release. As you probably know, we're still a small company and our finances are still very fragile. With this unexpected event, it put a halt to everything and we're slowly getting back on track now.

We'd like to thank everyone for their support, we've had some good feedback on our two books (we did have some criticism too which we have taken into account for our next titles) and there seems to be more and more people following our work and we're extremely flattered since we still consider that we have a lot to prove. But that is coming very soon!

- Now about those books that were announced: don't worry, they're coming. The Gunpei Yokoi bio should be next, we planned on sending it to print in August so it should hopefully be available a few weeks later. We will keep you updated on this and as soon as we have a date, I'll let you know.
The History of Mario will follow shortly after that.

- About the History of Sonic, as there are huge expectations for this book and we've been literally flooded with emails, messages and tweets, we realized there was a big problem: printing 10,000+ copies of the book would be impossible for us as we're still too small to afford such a big risk so should we print much less and disappoint so many fans?
Fortunately, we've come up with a third possibility: we've signed a deal with the famous editor Udon to make this book available to a bigger number of people. Therefore, you will be able to buy the book online and you will also be able to find it in stores around the world.
And it's actually available on pre-order at amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/History-Sonic-Hedgehog-Marc-Petronille/dp/1926778561/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1343489752&sr=8-1&keywords=History+of+Sonic
This is another reason for the delay, as we were negociating with Udon.

- As for the other upcoming books, we've signed another deal with another partner to make sure these books would be available in all good bookstores and video game stores. But of course, you can still order them online at http://www.pixnlovepublishing.com
