The battle is on again! This time it's the turn of this classic game from Psygnosis!

In this second poll we will look at machines that featured an 8-bit sound processor.

So how do these versions on less capable machines stack up? You decide!

Greyfox

I found myself listening to the master system version to be the better of them all, the atari xe version was excellent, but no cigar , e speccy and the amstard where exactly the same version, so maybe edit the poll and combine them together as one..

Over very impressive rendition of the original score ..especially for these 8bits spoofs :)

They are not the same, I suggest you listen again. I was really shocked as usually the Spectrum and Amstrad do share the same music, I think the Amstrad version is better.

I was actually shocked just how good the Master System rendition was, especially as it dosn't have a very good sound chip and for that reason it gets my vote!

It was a tough call but I really like the sound of the Commodore 64 intro.

Indeed, especially when you compare it to something like the Outrun music that I posted in another thread  :o
