Hi Guys, here's the title screen and level 1 pics taken with my phone of Centron 3D for the Atari Falcon 030. These screens is not actual gameplay but copy and paste using the blitter chip. We just wanted to see how the graphics is going to look using the Falcons trucolour mode. We were so excited seeing this we thought we'd share it with you guys too. LOL.  :D
So the next step is getting some game play happening... Stay tuned.
Pete :)

Looking good.

Given the Falcon was used to develop games for the Jaguar, is there any possibility of the game making it onto JagCD?

@ Cryptic33. Wow, Now that's a good question. We never really thought about creating Centron 3D for the Atari Jaguar. Once the Falcon030 version was completed we were going to start on a Commodore Amiga AGA version (shhh I never said that) lol but an Atari Jaguar version? How many Atari Jaguar users are there? and I'm talking about real hardware not emu's.

I'd like to bring @rush6432 & @Jag_Slave in the convo here to give there input on the Jag scene and potential sales, stroke interest in creating a Jag game.. If you did not know @RPC_GAMES these guys form Stormworks Interactive.

If it helps, I will gladly donate a small sum towards production costs for a Jag version. Obviously, a cartridge version would be far more popular than a CD but I know that significantly increases costs hence, I mentioned a JagCD version. I look forward to hearing about the progress of this project.

The Atari Jaguar scene is decent enough size in populous , but a volitile one, especially over at AA which if memory serves me right you were treated very poorly over their @RPC_GAMES with Centron3D for the Atari 8-bit. But there are also members who are very genuine and support the Jaguar for the love of the machine and are very supportive of it, so their is a decent audience for this if marketed correctly.

I suggest you look into the prices and production costs of doing this on the Atari Jaguar and reveal nothing until it's ready to sell, that way you can't be ridiculed like you were on the a8 version. Out of the blue is always a great way to get investment especially on the Atari Jaguar.

Porting it to the Jaguar would indeed be a cool thing to see.  There seems to be enough of a market for it since other developers are getting involved now with releases for the system.  One of them is Piko Interactive.

Sorry i realize this response is WAY overdue and late.  Better late that never eh?

Anyhow, there is a market for games on the jaguar / jaguar cd.  PM Me if you have questions about it. Ive done all my coding in ASM, but you can do it in C and there are quite a few resources around for that as well.

Working, working, working. lol. :) Yep, in case you guys are still wondering YES we are still working on Centron 3D for the Atari Falcon030. With other time crucial projects running at the same time we hardly ever have time to work on Centron 3D but I'm now dedicating Saturdays = Centron3D day. lol. :) Hope to get a demo on YouTube for you guys soon.
Have you played Atari today? and Commodore and Apple and ZX Spectrum and MSX and...... lol :)

Cool.  Nice to see this is still moving forward.  Oh, and I have not played Atari yet today.  ;)
