Atari Age user Lewis2907 is working on a new hombrew game for the Atari 2600 called Pac-Man Eat'n'Run.  Though the game is inspired by that yellow character we all know, the game is a change in the formula from what we are used to.  The game was inspired by Coleco's tabletop game.  Instead of eating, you have to explore a huge maze to get fruits.  You do need to use the map to know where you are so you can win the game.

Instructions / What works

- Use the joystick to move around
- Use Select Switch to Pause Game
- Use BW/Color Switch to bring up and close Map
- Center room (room 12) is a blackout room
- Pac-Man safe house in the middle. Since there are no power pellets you use the ghost house to hide from them
- Glide along the walls to find the exit. You can use the map, but trying to recall the exit with out the map may show your memory skill.

Give it a try!  It's cool to check the larger map to see where you are.

Sounds new and innovative for the old franchise.
Link is dead but I'll head over to see more. Thanks for the heads up.

TrekMD

Yes, it is something different.  I fixed the link.  I have no idea why it was blank.
