Atari Games, were literally the creators of Atari Games, in the guise of Atari arcade games. You see, back in the 70's, Atari was one company, but as we get to the mid 80's, it's ownership split. The consumer division was bought by Jack Tramiel (of Commodore fame), while the arcade games division went in a separate direction. This video game documentary focuses on the arcade division, Atari Games.

Watched this today another cracking video on Atari Games, and amazing that no one picked this up after they disappeared or went on to do these games, but I take it that the cost involved under this would of being crazy to do. Or that they didn't revise the engine behind the likes of Xybots or Vindicates etc..a great arcade engine that was.
