That's very cool, and I really like the look of it. USB support for updates and high score lists is a nice idea.

I agree, the design is really cool.  Not sure it is something I'd get since I have the Retron N5 but, still, this is one cool-looking console.

Great review of the AVS on USGamer. Don't think I need one but it does sound pretty good. It will be out next month for anyone who does want to get one.

Saturn

Looks like an amazing piece of hardware. Hope there's a post when it goes on sale.
Think I'm going to investigate getting one, this thing rocks 8)

Shadowrunner

Well, as it turns out you can pre-order it right now. Just click here :)

Saturn

Thanks for the link! I was wondering about price. The limited edition they can keep, that's outrageous.
$185 doesn't seem too bad.

Did anyone notice how tall that flagpole is lol

Shadowrunner

No Problem! Their site has a cool backdrop alright, I'm sure another site used to use it too but I can't think of where I've seen it before.

TrekMD

It's a nice looking console and not bad for the price.  Not sure I'm getting one, though.

I've seen a few decent reviews albeit by reviewers who had been sent the console for free. The mini Nes and Retron 5 are it's main competitors. If I didn't have a Retron 5 (which I hate tbh), Nes and a mini Nes on preorder I'd definitely have one of these. Kudos for the hardware, software, being upgradeable, NTSC, PAL and Famicom compatibility and builtin Four score. I hope they succeed.

TrekMD

One reason I'm not thinking of getting this is the fact that I have the Retron 5.

It's a pretty tidy bit of kit.

The guys from Game Sack have done a review of this system.  Check it out...

Great video and a ton of info. Really liking the hdmi input. That'll save so much hassle and money. My NES collection is buried somewhere and quite small now compared to when I was actively collecting. Can't justify that $185 price tag but I may check Amazon for a used one if it's around $100.
Thanks for posting that.
