More Spectrum Games You Never Thought Were Possible!

After I posted the Spectrum Doom thread recently I thought it would be cool to look at some more "impossible" games for the Spectrum so here is a selection of links to more Spectrum games you would have never thought possible! They all run on a stock 128k machine and coded by homebrewers across Europe, very impressive stuff indeed!

Super Mario Islands - Original Mario game for the speccy, there is a conversion of the NES game but this is much better!

Mortal Kombat - featuring some great monochrome digitised graphics and a fantastic AY soundtrack!

Prince Of Persia - No music in this one but its the full game with some amazing animation!

I've had Doom running on my Spectrum. Mario Islands almost loaded.

It's pretty tricky trying to get these working without a DivIDE or something.

I believe a lot of people these days use a MP3 player to loads games into their Speccy.

My eyes near popped out. Who cares if it's monochrome if it looks that good. Stunning. Would love to see the C=64 try doing that!

Tiny letterbox play field excepted that's yet further proof of how beastly Sir Clive's marvel was!

Beautiful.
