Quote from: "Cryptic33"Arrived today, very excited! I've waited some 20 years to get my hands on one of these :105:

I'm intrigued Cryptic! The original Atari tamper proof tape tells me where it came from, but what's inside?

Cryptic33

Ha, ha. Ok, here come the other pics...

Tension builds ;)

Giddy with excitement
For the record, Alien verses Predator on the Atari Jaguar holds a Guinness World Record!

To remove any awkwardness, I have mesothelioma. I don’t seek sympathy, just acceptance. Thanks

Awesome! Congratulations Cryptic :36: Getting one after all these years must feel incredible!

Quote from: "Shadowrunner"Awesome! Congratulations Cryptic ;)
They were too expensive when they came out and despite mixed fortunes over those 20 years, I either couldn't justify the cost or didn't know where I could get one. I still can't afford it but sometimes you just have to throw caution to the wind and they also said it was the last one they had! Not sure if that was true but, I felt it was time and now I will cuddle up to it instead of teddy tonight :16:

Oh wow, that is awesome! You got a boxed one!  I got mine with just the foam but not box.

Going to the final frontier, gaming...

Saturn

Quote from: "zapiy"A box with a blue bag? I could have gave you one of those years ago mate.
:)
I knew exactly what it was when I saw the box in the first pic. So much more content available. Even movies. Love it! :113:

zapiy

Where did you get it from fella?

Own: Jaguar, Lynx, Dreamcast, Saturn, MegaDrive, MegaCD, 32X, GameGear, PS3, PS, PSP, Wii, GameCube, N64, DS, GBA, GBC, GBP, GB,  Xbox, 3DO, CDi,  WonderSwan, WonderSwan Colour NGPC

Cryptic33

Wow, so many questions ha

Ok, Trek, technically it was just foam blocks they had left in stock but they said they would throw in a used box for free ;)

That leads to zappy's question and the answer is Best Electronics. They charge $299 + shipping and insurance. MyAtari state they have some new ones in stock but want $499 :16: I also have an HD camera now to make some video reviews with but that probably won't be till next year now as Christmas is nearing and I will be busy till February and I must get some written reviews completed for Trek first. Can't believe there are a number of titles I own that I have still not played :113:

That is cool about the box!  I'd taken that offer in a second also!  Good for you!

Please do, love abit of mystery. Plus who doesn't like a box with something in it :)

Quote from: "ThorNity"Those Lego Star Wars sets look awesome. I wish I had a few of those sets. Especially the AT-AT walker. Nice collection of EU books as well.

Keep em coming.
