Here are photos of my arcade in progress. It's been a lot of work this past year and half (sanding, painting, finding parts, creating graphic design, electrical work etc.), but the goal is almost realized. I'll be putting up additional artwork on the wall, and each of the games have original arcade flyers I just need to mount on top. I finally have the real arcade machine for all of the games I owned as a kid on a home Atari system, and an original game with box to put on top of each as well. Time for some Arcade Action!

WOW!!! I am so jealous, that is amazing! I can't even imagine how much time and money that took, but incredible results :113:

Mind blowing stuff!, would love to join you and friends for beer talking about all that restoration work and of the course the games themselves :)

What an arcade collection!!!

It mostly took a lot of time. But it's been fun. There's a Qbert lunch box sitting on top of Qbert as it's the lunchbox I had as a kid.

Many were in bad condition to start with and then I redid them. Some are great shape original though. If you are in the USA, stop by!

I've set some of the games to play in German language as I've been learning that recently. Apparently "SPIELENDE" is not a good thing :-(

Why do I suddenly feel so jealous!?!?  That is simply amazing!

TrekMD: If you are up in this part of the state sometime, definitely stop on by.

I might make a stand of some type perhaps to place a Vectrex or two on with VectorPilot and the other running a multicart. I really like vector games.

Awesome collection!  That HS-5 is a lot like mine.  I only have two official cabinets, a Dynamo HS-5 and a Robocop that I converted to a Games Family 60-in-1.  My HS-5 (originally SFAlpha then upgraded to SFAlpha2) has been rewired for multicarts.   I have also made seven other cabinets from scratch to house consoles that have been wired to the pcb's of old school controllers.  I like using Sega pads as you can work so many systems into a cabinet with the controls wired to them.

That must have been a blast to fix up!!
And all the Who's down in Whoville will cry
"OH $#IT!"

HS-5 cabinets are really one of my favorites. They have a nice design, and the PCB drawer being accessible from the front is a plus. Mine originally was a SF2: Champion Edition that was in rough shape. I did a lot of sanding, filling, and painting and created custom graphics for it. Inside on a JAMMA switcher is a Super Turbo, SF Alpha 3, and a CPS3 multi with SF: Third Strike. I'm also adding in a SF2: Hyper Fighting PCB. If I had one arcade machine, I would choose the HS-5.

Sega pads sound like a great way to go!
