@zapiy  the publisher I use has a printer in the UK, so it will be available via the UK Amazon.  For comparison, here is the link to my Master System Book on there.  I don't know how shipping works from the UK to the rest of Europe, but is it relatively cheap?

As for the cost of the book, i don't have a firm price on it yet (won't have that until I upload the files and find out the printing costs) but it should be comparable to the SMS book.  The timeline is getting close as the Print PDF is being compiled.  The digital versions will also be available in Europe, with the Kindle and straight PDF version and the iBooks version (with gameplay footage).

Looks amazing so far.
As far as the title goes, to me, it always has been and always will be the Atari VCS.

:113: but with this being an American publication it is better known as the "2600" over there, I personally felt it should of had VCS in the title somewhere, but alias Derek's the boss on that and decided to have it as the "2600 Encyclopedia".

Now that the book is now complete (yeahhheee) it is being proof checked for any final errors etc and with that passed it's straight of to the printers for production, which I believe can be purchased in both Europe and America, so no crazy p&p involved, I'm actually very eager to get this myself to hold high above my head and say "I made this" lol.

More news I'm sure when and where it's available from VgaTV (Derek Slaton) himself.

Hey Everyone, just a quick update.  The proof copy of the print version is being printed and shipped my way.  Assuming there aren't any complications it should be available in the next couple of weeks.  The digital versions are on track as well.  We are getting closer!

It's been a enlightening experience to say the least, from approach to delivery in less than 8 weeks has to some sort of record? Now that the book is more or less completed and on its way, as an Atari 2600 fan, I can imagine that people will reach for this at events and helping them decide purchases at auctions and the likes and when not doing that will simple marval at how great this console is and information contained within. And for that along I feel I've truly done my job on the book. Minus the back and forward to the printers etc..lol.

Well it's finally arrived, Derek now has the first copy of the Atari 2600 Encyclopedia in his hands. What an achievement for both of us.

Just to let everyone know, the book is now officially for sale!  The digital versions are worldwide, but the print version has only shown up on the US Amazon.  The printer has told me that it could be anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks for it to show up on the UK Amazon.  I will monitor it and keep everyone posted.

Here is the link to where you can pick up a copy for yourself!
