See I don't think I could have gone into the games industry if I was brought up into the 80's as I prefer a visual development method if you understand. I prefer to see what I'm creating rather then just seeing lines of code with errors.

I have friends that I used to play the games with when they came out in the 80s, 90s but these days they dont have much interest. This of course means when i beat some incredibly hard game I have no one to brag to!

Feel free to share it with us here.  ;)

Yes I myself was faced with the very same dilemma during completetion of a seriously touch game and not been able to say, yes, I kicked the end bosses balls out the window without friends or family thinking, sheesh what's up with him? or what's his problem?, stupid video games etc.. Because while trying to be passionate about the win, they can't make head or tail of it, but if it was some rubbishy TV show or football match etc. they'd be right there with you.

So I know your pain, I have experienced it, which is why RVG is the best place to share these sentiments of gratification about your gaming prowess :)

I had a group of friends over Friday evening. Interestingly instead of using my xbox one or ps4, we stayed up to 5 am playing Brian lara cricket on the PS 2 and goldeneye on the n64. Granted the standard of play significantly decreased as more beer was drank!

Deckard

I was a GoldenEye GOD! haha
Man i remember you had to beat Facility in two minutes or something on the hardest level to unlock
the 007 mode. Damn that was hard

Haha I was terrible myself. That was until the grenade launcher came out, although it's explosions made it look more like a flamethrower

He should get some of the games that allows ComLynx play so the two of you can play together.

I was at a friends house Wednesday just gone, walked into his kitchen and noticed his two girls at the kitchen side playing a Vectrex.. Low and behold he has owned it from day one.. I was gobsmacked, I went into overdrive and showed him all the homebrews and he reckons he is going to get some lol..

It was really strange, he was the last person I would ever consider being remotely interested lol.. Not saying he is a RetroHead lol but still shocked me.
