The Atari 7800 Game By Game Podcast!

Hey guys!
Some of you may know already, but I am working on launching The Atari 7800 Game By Game podcast very soon!

I'm aiming at covering 2 games a week, except for special episodes. For the most part, I will go in part order, sprinkling in the 3rd party games here and there. I'm also hoping for as many audio and text submissions on the games as possible!

I'm currently working on episode 1. For the first episode, I wanted to focus on the system itself.Â I'm also hoping for lots of stories from anyone who ever owned a 7800, even my friends from across the pond!Â When did you get it, why did you get, what was your first impressions of it, that sort of thing,Â I will take any text or audio submissions you have. Length doesn't matter, but I do ask that you keep it family friendly.

I'm hoping to record this weekend. To be safe, I'd say get them in by 8pm EST on Friday, but late submissions may still make it in. I also plan on using any new submissions I get on the show, even if they deal with stuff already covered.

I just finished listening to the first podcasts for the 7800.Â Really good.Â Enjoyed listening to this and it was good to hear people say positive stuff about the system.

From what I understand, European consoles did not come with Pole Position II, but rather with Asteroids built into the system. If you turned it on with no game cartridge inserted, Asteroids would automatically boot up.
