Game Gear TV output mod
« on: April 09, 2012, 22:58:06 PM »
I already posted this elsewhere - but incase anyone else was interested...

Also re-visited it and added a controller port to it earlier, but I haven't got the start button working yet - so that still has to be done on the Game Gear. That has to wait for another day as I want to take it to a local retro gaming event tomorrow.

Most of the work for this is done by the legendary viletim. You can get a TV output board from him, but you'll need to wire it all up of course.

Here's some more info on the mod:

A picture of the insides before I'd finished (not that I bothered tidying it up much afterwards)

This is the page I was using to get the info about the controller port:

ThanksĀ  :P

I've done a few other things like Dreamcast VGA and the usual RGB/60hz mods, but there's some pretty decent guides on those already. I can try and get some pictures anyway though.
