Here's another couple I did. A bit more abstract.

"Abstract" is the proper word.  Now, if you had Ken beating up Ryu, the word would be "realism." Seriously, good job making it recognizable yet very expressionistic.

Here's a stab at my Avatar as a 2600 title screen (side by side for comparison)




One constraint is the 48x96 pixel canvas.  When the kernel draws it the pixels are twice as wide.  Essentially, you have to draw 48x96 but visualize 96x96.
