Cool.  I've saved his text to a WordPerfect file that I'll use as a template to start from.  Who is laying out the manual?  Is there a word limit constraint to keep in mind?

Is this a fast enough return ?

I did this, this morning, hope it capture the energy of the game. @zapiy when your around, I'll send across the first labels, I did a Pal one and an NTSC one. so two labels for two regions :77:

Boy that was quick!  Are you open to suggestions (assuming you have time)?  Would a label design more similar to the design on the 2600 Crystal Castles label?  That's the design used on later labels.  :)

That manual cover art looks awesome!  Very space age.  The lines shooting out remind me of the energy walls in the game.  They're eventually the most deadly obstacle in the game for me.

The in-game screenshot on the cart looks a bit strange to me.  I don't think I've heard of an Atari game having a screenshot on the cart itself.  Kind of like a milk carton having a picture of a milk carton on it.  Not a biggie. :)

Greyfox

Okay, I could certainly make look in the same vein as the crystal castle cart , when I'm at my machine, hopefully this evening :)  so I'll get it out of there for ya, but I do feel its okay on the manual. The laser shots were exactly the thinking  you had in your reply, so my designing spidy senses were correct on that :36:

Holy cow that's marvelous!  Nothing says old school shooter like neon colors and dark, fading purple backgrounds!!!

That's really inspiring, man!
