Help! cleaning old Atari Carts
« on: April 03, 2012, 21:08:06 PM »
Tips needed.

I have cleaned the edges with Methylated spirits, that has worked on most, but some still black screen, I am prepared to open them up, but is there anything else that could be wrong with em?

One of the best things to do is use an eraser on the cart edges

Also clean the pins of your console. Best way is to spray a small amount of cleaning fluid on to the end of a stiff piece of card cut to fit the slot and push it in and out a few times.
