The Kim 1
« on: July 17, 2014, 20:28:27 PM »
Whilst Commodore were a big producer of Calculators, Chuck Peddle made a Kit with the MOS 6502 chip ( the very same one that Futurama's Bender has in his head!)

$245 got you the kit, and they proved very popular as they were cheaper than the Altair.

I think it was just the state, some made it to europe. It's the PETs father.

We just love acronyms.  :21:  Yes, I can see that happening.  I remember many years ago a Puerto Rican dancer who's last name is Chacon had to change her last name to Chason on a trip to Venezuela because Chacon was some bad word there.
