I saw this being discussed in one of the Facebook groups I am part of and thought it would make an interesting topic for here.

So what consoles do you feel have the best good to bad ratios in their games library and which one have the worst?[/align:326kn0yj]

For me the best ratio has to be the Neo Geo, PC Engine and Atari Lynx, those who say Megadrive or Snes need to go through the amount of shite on emulators to realise it wont be them!  :24:

Atari 5200 and Lynx both have a very good ratio of good to bad!

Been giving this a lot of thought:

GOOD - Atari Lynx, for me has the best of any console - I an literally only name 5 bad games from the original library of 72. Most of those are sports games and at least a few are debatable, being enjoyed by many other people. It really is staggering just how good the Lynx library is, something Atari failed to get right with the Jaguar.

BAD - With this one I think it's easy to pick on a failed system with a small library and I was even tempted to go with the CD-i, but didn't because it's debatable if a lot of it's catalogue are even games! Instead my choice is the PS1, for a couple of reasons. Firstly because of the machine's success there were hundreds of developers trying to get in on the act, and that meant tons of cheap cash-ins and absolute dross. Also because many of the games have aged so badly. I spent a good couple of hours playing a PS1 at a retro event this weekend just gone and I was actually shocked just how horrible some of the games were.
