[size=140]Jeff Minter is a cult figure in the games industry, he has programmed some of the craziest and most entertaining games ever made and continues to thrill modern audiences with games like TxK and Space Giraffe.

But what, in your opinion, is his finest work?

This might be the cliched answer, but I have to go with Tempest 2000.  That, to me, was the last console game I played that truly captured the spirit of classic arcade gaming, and was really Atari's swan song along with Defender 2000 (which I like a lot, just not quite as much).  The music also is another factor in going with Tempest 2000, granted Minter didn't compose it.

Shadowrunner

I haven't played all his games, but of the ones I have I had to choose Defender 2000. Tempest would be next, but I really love playing D2K  :113:

My vote goes to Tempest 2000.  For me, Defender 2000 comes as a close second.  Some of his other games, I have not played, though.

Going to the final frontier, gaming...

I am interested to know who voted "other" and why?  :39:

I voted for Llamatron.

Because it's Llamatron.

Although I haven't played all the games on that list I voted Tempest 2000. Arguably the best game on the Jag and almost worth buying the console for.
