Evil Wizard II is one of the latest entries in The Official C64 SEUCK Competition 2014. The aim of this competition is to create your very own shoot 'em up / or whatever type of game you want using the normal SEUCK, or the Sideways Shoot Em Up Construction kit. (Visit the official Sideways scrolling SEUCK web site for the Sideways SEUCK. The vertical scrolling SEUCK for C64 is easy to find to buy from eBay as tape or disk.

Evil Wizard 2 was a game which was designed a completely different way. Pingo (a former member of the demo group, Civitas) designed this game using CharPad and SpritePad by Subchrist Software.  All of the graphics data was then put into SEUCK and the "attack waves" were then designed for the game. The tricks worked quite well and some of the sprites eventually got used in the game GOLD QUEST 5, of which a preview was submitted for last year's compo.

You were originally assigned by a good wizard as an apprentice. You battled against the evil wizard beforehand, but the evil wizard had mega supreme powers and turned you from human into a ghost. After you went back to the good wizard telling the story of the recent events. The good wizard was very angry and cast a spell on you - so that you can get your revenge on the evil wizard for once and for all. Guide your apprentice (ghost) through the forest into evil wizard's lair (Inside the castle). Cast your spells on the evil creatures and of course the evil wizard's tricks. Meet him at the final showdown and destroy him before he destroys you.
