I am probably even more excited about this than the Intellivision Flashback. I played a lot of Colecovision games recently when I wrote the article for RG and it's an excellent machine.  :16:

I am really looking forward to see what games are available.

Well, I bet Lady Bug, Carnival, and Cosmic Avenger will be some of them...but games like SMURF will not, due to licenses.  I bet the sports games will be part of the lot, but so will homebrews.

as it is most likely based on the same custom design as the first flashback it will be very limited and would explain the price of $39. As stated the controllers are quite interesting. No chance to implement a cartridge slot  :20:
Games itself doesn't count as I have tons of them here for the original console.

I'm interested in buying one of these, but I'm going to wait until Black Friday. The Flashback systems typically go on sale for $25 at that time.

I am not waiting that long. I want these yesterday.

I need to go to the Beach, where my dad resides, and find my Colecovision, because it's NOT in my house...so needing some CV Action!!!

I hope you find it!

Going to the final frontier, gaming...

I have an Intellivision in good condition with quite a large collection, so I doubt I will buy the Flashback for it, though I think the release is cool.

The Coleco Flashback I am definitely interested.  I've been thinking of getting a C/V but to build a substantial collection of games is not an expense I want to take on.  If this unit does a good job of emulation and comes with a good selection of games, count me in.

I'm very curious as to what games will come on it. I mean, $40 is CHEAPER than what I paid for Mouse Trap as a kid, i saved my $5 allowance 9 weeks to get it.

Have these become available in the UK yet? Just curious.
