The folks from AtGames will be releasing a new Flashback console, this time based on the Mattel Intellivision.  The console will come with 60 games and will also include overlays for the games!    The console and controllers look like the original console.  It is available for preorder for those in the US right now for $39.99 and the scheduled release date is October 2014.  [/align:13jnt1l5]

Sounds good and I like the overlays, but not sure about the controllers  :-

I remember hearing about this a few months back. If they do a PAL version I will probably pick it up.

Yes, I thought I had made a post about it but I couldn't find it.  So, created a new thread.  :)  I'm ordering it.

What??? No thread for the ColecoVision Flashback??? Well, now there is. I'm stoked for both!
60 games??? That's almost half the entire Intellivision library!

I've not seen anything about a ColecoVision Flashback.  Feel free to start one if it exists.  ;)  That is another Flashback I'd bay in an instant.

Seems to be on the same chipset as the coleco flashback. Only changed emu layer nothing else. No slots, no permission to sell outside usa, canada due to missing compliance to european regulations and registrations.

Bad, that all these efforts only ends in one-way restricted emulations as a real intv on a chip based on vhdl is not really rocket science but would revive the whole scene. Costs would be not really higher but would also be acceptable if <200 dollar.

what restrictions/regulations are keeping these from coming to the UK?  I don't understand.
