Quote from: "TrekMD"Microsoft is a CGE and will be showing part of the documentary today.  Looking forward to that.

On that note, if you're in Vegas what the hell are you doing posting  :19:

 ;)

In any case, Microsoft showed a non-final version of the documentary today.  I got to watch most of it (had to leave for a dinner commitement) and I have to say it is well done.  It'll be great to see the final version once it is released in DVD/BD.

You should have taken a video clip on your phone and posted. Oh, maybe not with legalities and all. Did they say when official release will be?

That was not allowed.  I believe they said it'll be available to XBox users in November with a later release on DVD/BD.

And now some of the games are being sold on ebay:  Atari Dig Games.

Who didn't see this coming.
I guess it was inevitable but $50 for a fetid, chewed up game? I mean...come on.
Zero feedback seller too.

Not for me.

Yeah that's just crazy! The E.T cartridges start at $100 and there's already a bid on a few of them :30:

TrekMD

Bonkers for sure.  The carts may not even work!

The documentary about the dig is due for release to XBox Video this month, specifically, the 20th.  No word on what other formats it will be released to yet.

According to this site http://www.windowscentral.com/microsofts-et-dig-documentary-hits-xbox-live-november-20 it's free to watch for all Xbox Live members.

As for the E.T cartridges getting so many bids, I don't get it! Are these all speculators thinking these will be worth a fortune some day? If so I think they're sadly mistaken. With so many copies being sold, and at such high prices, they will never get their money back. These people are going to be left with a very expensive conversation piece :112:

Good stuff but I see MS are of the opinion ET is " as one the worst games ever made due to horrible gameplay and game breaking bugs."

I've seen reviews of it and its not that bad, frustrating perhaps but by no means unplayable.
