New Intellivision Homebrew - Sydney Hunter & The Cradle of D

I was just comparing videos of this to the original Smurfs game.  Not only is the art better (less hand-drawn looking) but the jump physics don't go straight up and quickly down.  The nasty jumps are what killed platforming for me until Super Mario Bros.

Yes it does!  It's good the Smurf's engine could be used to create something original.
