Everyone knows the atari joypad CX78 model having a small plastic joystick adapter on top of the stick.
Most used joypads lacks this adapter so a hole is shown on the left, right, top, down plate.

I am able to offer repro sticks which looks similar and are much better (told by betatesters). Because they are a little bit greater in size and have a better grip in the middle.

Is there a demand for it?

Below a picture of the replica. The color must be a little bit adjusted but then perfectly matches.

I definitely think there would be a demand for this, most of the 7800 joypads I come across have the stick missing!

Reproduction is quite simple as used parts are taken from a company producing millions of similar parts (but not knowing that it fits here as well with a little modification) . Thanks for the hint goes to my daughter :113:

Yes, I'd agree that there would be demand for these as well.

Cool idea! I'd be interested because of the bigger size.

My joypads still have their original sticks but I like the design of these, so I'd be one to get them.  :)

bigger is better? I'm asking because I have the choice of offering different sizes. so what size is best?

I think the larger size will be better but only real testing will answer the question.  Too big may not be good either.

I find the the joystick a little small so I think bigger would be better. Like Trek said though, without testing different sizes it would be hard to tell how big is too big.

So better to offer single with different size or a full range set with 3 different one?

A set with all 3 different sizes would be handy. Guess it depends on how much you plan to sell them for, but if a set was reasonably priced then that's the way I would go.
