yeah that's pretty bad to be fair, I mean the comment about not knowing what's coming round the corner and about the bodies causing damage after you kill an enemy are utterly stupid to say the least!

I thought the idea about the Alien bodies added a layer of depth no other Alien game had before or since which made it really interesting to play and I love the atmosphere in the game coupled with not knowing whats coming.

I mean in what reality would an alien warn you that its approaching. There was nothing scarier to me than going through a doorway, turning round to check and seeing an alien storming after you silently!

to AVGN? I am actually REALLY tempted you know... sort of an "In retaliation to the AVGN's unfounded, slanderous and inept assumptions/accusations regarding the Jaguar CD" maybe not quite that long lol... but you get the idea

I own two Jag Cd's (Bought both combined for under 100 bucks lol).
Favorite games? I love BlackOut Cd! haha j/k
I'll admit I love Blue Lightning and Battlemorph as a tie. I also enjoy Baldies and Myst as a tie.

Lame games? Maybe.

Battlemorph, Hover Strike UL, and Impulse X would be my favorite games. I need to get Primal Rage and Iron Soldier 2 and I will have them all.

Primal Rage and Iron Soldier 2 are both great games, but go for a lot of money these days. I still have my original IS2 from when I was younger but sadly the box got lost somewhere along the lineÂ :20:

Sorry to change the subject slightly but I got a Jag CD off ebay yesterday and it should be delivered tomorrow. I'm very excited as I never thought I'd ever own a Jag CD...I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve!

Laird - the podcast we recorded has been completed now and I'm just waiting for it to be uploaded, will let you know when it's live. Thanks again for helping out.

Again - another slight subject change: I hear a lot about a negative/toxic community around the Jag but I'm yet to see any of it...can anyone elaborate? Or is it a can of worms I'm best ignorant to?

Congrats! Make sure the laser transport is not smashed down., laser lens is clean and that you just set the discs in the unit itself and dont press down on them and you should be good to go!

As for the toxic jag community, i wont go into tons of detail but as laird said, check out AA and lurk if you want. Asking questions gets you flamed and if you dont like cheap shitty homebrew games made by reboot you are ridiculed relentlessly and ganged up on/trolled.

Best to just avoid it all together and enjoy discovering the titles on your own or through great videos like above and you'll have such a better view/appreciation of the system if you do this.

If anyone really is interested in getting one of these i think you can get them from best electronics in the states here for $135 refurbished. Granted shipping might get you a bit if you're not in the states but its better than paying 250-300 for a unit honestly.

I rarely play my Jag CD, I don't like the games much, and I have them all. Some people really like the games, to each their own. I hope you enjoy yours.

I do like Robinson's Requiem and the glitchy Baldies.
