The Alex Kidd games never really clicked with me, they were just too similar to Mario games for my liking and I have never been a fan of platformers anyway.

The only one I ever played much was the Mega Drive game, mainly because my brother bought it. Still thought it was pretty crap though.

His most iconic game was definitely Miracle World on the Master System.

Never played any of the Alex Kidd games so no real opinion about them.  I guess I can try the Genesis/MD one for myself.

I have one of the games i think, i guess like the Laird they were very Mario like and i guess Mario had my love but having seen this thread perhaps we need to give this some love and have a bash on it and she what type of game it is in its own right.
