I love the idea and the look of it, but I just can't get round the fact that its just not the real thing.  I have most of the Neo games that I want for the PSP - whilst that's good, it's still no substitute for playing on a big screen hooked up to my AES or MVS.  I want to want one (and if someone gave me one, I'm sure I'd like it), but I just can't bring myself to buy one.  But, as Laird says, if they drop under the £100 mark, I'm sure it'd become a whole lot more tempting.

That's a great deal! I paid around £40 just for the mega pack on it's own. As well as all the games it also doubles as a carry case for the handheld and comes with a high speed charging cable and firmware update.

I've been hearing that the Neo Geo X is kind of terrible though...Poor sound emulation, stuff like that. Have I been misinformed?

Huh...it actually sounds pretty enticing, based on what he's saying. It certainly sounds like a better alternative to blowing five times the amount it costs for the real thing.

I bought one last year and I've really enjoyed it so far. I personally didn't notice any sound problems and overall I feel it's a good quality system. I think the people who have complained are the die hard Neo Geo fans who pay hundreds of dollars for AES games and they're a crazy bunch
