I see GORF sold for $275.  That's plenty.

I watched that GORF auction for 7 days hoping it would go through the roof. Thought for sure it would sky rocket in the closing seconds. Guess not, but good for walterj64. Not a bad return on an 11 year old investment of $30 (iirc)

Here's another one I was watching just out of curiosity. Jaguar CD

Seeing that price makes me really glad I bought two of these years ago before they got so expensive! I keep seeing people saying the retro game bubble is going to burst but yet the price of this stuff just keeps going up and up!

Saturn

Man, that's a lot. Sure wish there was an alternative.
Hopefully, Carl at Songbird will have something soon. He can save the day with what he's working on 8)

Here's something you don't see every day, a very rare Japanese Vectrex demo kiosk.

Just under $3000 USD for anyone feeling rich!

TrekMD

Never seen that before!  I've seen other arcade cabs made with the Vectrex but that one is a first.

Wow, there's a copy of Dino Park Tycoon up on ebay! For those who don't know, this is like the holy grail of 3DO games. It was the last game released for the system and the console was pretty much dead at that point so nobody bought it. Nobody seems to know how many copies were made but it takes months and sometimes over a year for the game to show up for sale. I'd love to own it but it's a little pricey!

If it was complete with the long box and manual I'd submit an offer or two and see how low he would go. With just the disc and case though it's too much.

I hear that. Never heard of it before and based on your description I was wondering if that's how it originally came. Good to know it was a full release but yeah, if that's the case it doesn't really warrant an offer at that initial price. Unless you were the kind of collector who'd be happy making their own box, etc. But it still wouldn't be genuine so, worthless imo.

Shadowrunner

Yeah, it was a full release with box. I decided to see what info I could find on the game and according to Wikipedia it was released in 1994. There's no source so I thought maybe they had it wrong but then I came across a scan of the manual and it says 1994 too. So, it was nowhere near the last game released for the system. Now I'm really curious as to why they made so few copies of the game, and why people claim it was the last released game!

If anyone is interested, there's a lot of 32X Games and the unit itself (which look in very nice condition) being auctioned right now:  Sega 32x console cib, Knuckles Chaotix, 17 games! Large 32x lot.

John Romero has put up a sealed copy of Heretic on ebay . In two hours it went from $10 to $690! He says he will sign the box too which is pretty cool.
