Kind of curious how many people can be seen at work / out of the house with a retro console!

I always have my gameboy or NeoGeo Pocket on me just incase i need a quick game. Always bring one on the train, sometimes leads to random conversations. Even had my snes at work for a sly game in a meeting room.

My Lynx and my GBA have traveled with me on planes but never any of the retro consoles.  :)

Going to the final frontier, gaming...

No consoles. Just handhelds like the GameBoy Color, Nintendo DS and Sony PSP.

These days the only mobile gaming I engage in is on my iPhone when on the bus, train, etc.

Several years ago I packed my DS Lite in my suitcase when holidaying abroad but never really used it outside of the hotel room.

To be seen playing a GameBoy, Lynx, GameGear, PSP, DS, etc., when out in public? Not for me, thanks. That'd look way too nerdy, lol! Gaming in public on a smartphone seems to be more socially acceptable. Gaming in public on a DS, for example, when one is an adult male well past his teens looks rather tragic, imo!

I just wear my U.S. Army Airborne shirt when playing the DS. Folks smile but never say anything :47:
