Very good looking game. I wish Elektronite could make a compilation disc of there games for newer systems. My kids used to love cartridges. Now they only want CD or DVD games. Download on a tablet would be great. Anyone else have this problem?

Boxes and labels mean nothing to my gamers. Ugh.

It'll be interesting to see if they'll feel the same 20 or 30 years from now!   :21:

When costs are recouped from the manufacture of The Lost Caves of Kroz, we will probably start to sell digital copies for play on Voltron's multi-cart (Coming soon) and PC distributions.

Cool.  I'll have to keep an eye out for that multicart as well.

Elektronite, Classic Game Publishers and Apogee are pleased to announce that The Lost Caves of Kroz has been completed! We are working on improving the control code, and then will be sending it out for testing.

At the moment, we are hard at work designing the overlays and writing the manual for this EPIC Intellivision release.

We are intending to make 5 pre-release copies available (prototypes) to people who want to get a preview of the game and help with testing for $100 US.

What do you get for your $100? You get to try the game months ahead of the general public. You get to own a genuine PROTOTYPE, and get to help with the testing of this huge game. It comes in a release box, but with NO manual or overlays.

email: gamesforyourintellivision@hotmail.com if interested in one of these limited pre-release copies.

Some final tweaks to the opening scroll have been happening, and when they are finished, hopefully by the end of the  weekend, we will have a release candidate that we can send to testers.

To be clear, the game is 'finished'. We have just been working on some minor things like input routines  because they were a bit rough and they needed tweaking. When all the tweaks are done, we will send the game to our testers and the only way the release candidate will not make it out, is if bugs are found. We will then fix them and start over with the testing.

Kroz is finished. ONE thing is still to come. Sound is going to be added to the 'scroll'. The scroll 'sets the scene' of the game, and right now is silent.

We are ready for testing. I am making 5 copies, ACIB ('Almost complete in Box') available to interested parties for $100 US plus shipping.

What do you get for your money? Well, first of all, you get a prototype copy of the game that you can keep. Secondly, you get to preview the game about 5 months before everyone else. Finally,  you get to contribute to testing. NO MANUAL or OVERLAYS are included in the package. If you find a bug, you will get an honourable mention in the manual.

The game comes in an official Kroz box, and uses an LTO shell with an official Kroz sticker. The cartridge will be labelled as a 'test copy'.

IF interested, email willy_moeller@hotmail.com

First come first serve. If you drop out, the next person in line takes your place.

Testing of the game continues.

A lot of tweaks will have to be made as some rooms are too difficult.

The overlay and manual cover designs have been completed.
