Had a look at more 3DO M2 stuff, the ever cynical EDGE magazine praising a game (shock horror)...

Preview of D2 spoke very highly, said level of detail in the early shots was staggering, objects in adjacent rooms were fully rendered, detail levels were extraordinary and if Warp could marry such detail to a fast game engine then D2 should prove to be a stunning M2 debut...systems fogging effects provided great atmosphere, perspective-correct textures would serve M2 well in comparisions with PS1...it gave a n indication of M2's texture-mapping and light-handling capabilities..featured wide range of textures...extremely advanced light handling (shadows changed with time of day, fog reducing visibilty in mornings, darkness at night...mirror effects looked stunning and so fort.

Prince Of Persia 2 for the Sega Mega Drive was cancelled when it was very close to release as they felt the market was no longer strong enough to support it:

Ah, the Star Trek V game for the NES.  I have been trying to find it just because it is a Star Trek game.  Good Deal Games had it but the ran out of stock.

[align=center:378ezyqp]Crash Landed is a canceled 3d platformer that was being developed by Renegade Kid in 2008 or 2009 for publisher Activision. It featured Crash Bandicoot, a character originally created by Naughty Dog in the 90′s.

Quote from: "TrekMD"I wonder why this wasn't released.

It does seem strange considering what a big franchise Crash Bandicoot is.

Exactly.  I wonder if there was some licensing issue that stopped the game from seeing release.

I don't think so as Activision took control of the license when they bought out Naughty Dog.

Maybe they thought people didn't like him anymore? Who knows!

A rumour has been circulating that a new Carsh Bandicoot game will be out this year on PS Vita & PS4

After Titus Released Superman 64, which everybody hated, Titus wanted to recreate their Superman game on the Playstation with a new gameplay design. To quote the press blurb "the game plays and feels similar to Tomb Raider, except with super abilities" (and no rings to fly into). Developed by BlueSky Software, who programmed Ninja Golf on the Atari 7800 and Jurassic Park on the Mega Drive among others. Superman for the PS1 was cancelled even though it was 100% finished because the license with Warner Brothers had expired.

Looks like that Superman game was based on the Superman TV show, which is cool by me.  That was a very good Superman show.

Compared to the N64 version, that actually looks pretty good. It doesn't seem very Superman-like, I'll admit, given the focus on solving puzzles and such that the videos show, but it seems playable.
