Space Invaders '91 is a really nice game - pretty tough too.

SnakeEyes

Megadrive games I think deserve more love. some of them people will know but I still think they deserve more.

2 Crude Dudes Sega Genesis Nostalgia

Bonanza Bros. (Sega Genesis) Stage 1 - Company

This is another fantastic little game that needs a mention, Zoom!

It's basically a 3D version of the classic Amidar with some cute graphics and great sound. It's a highly addictive title that I strongly recommend any MD owners here pick up:

RetroFox

Quote from: "Bobinator"So here's Scooby-Doo Mysteries, not to be confused with the SNES version, which is an entirely different game. If you don't like Scooby... well, don't be expecting too much. If you do, however, there's a surprisingly good LucasArts style adventure game in here. It's probably not as long or as difficult as your average Monkey Island, but there are two different cases to solve.

Scooby Doo Mysteries (Gens) Blake's Hotel - Part 2 of 5

Wow now this looks interesting!! That looks exactly like the SCUMM engine used for  Day Of The Tentacle!

This one I will be checking out .... Maybe it could be hacked into DOTT? That Would be amazing!  amazing enough for me to pay a hmebrewer to make it!

Agree 100% on that one.. :113:

Own: Jaguar, Lynx, Dreamcast, Saturn, MegaDrive, MegaCD, 32X, GameGear, PS3, PS, PSP, Wii, GameCube, N64, DS, GBA, GBC, GBP, GB,  Xbox, 3DO, CDi,  WonderSwan, WonderSwan Colour NGPC

Cryptic33

I only ever played a few games on the MegaDrive but I must say that Zero Tolerance looks pretty good and a lot like Wolfenstein 3D

An under appreciated game I do remember is Ecco the Dolphin:

For the record, Alien verses Predator on the Atari Jaguar holds a Guinness World Record!

To remove any awkwardness, I have mesothelioma. I don’t seek sympathy, just acceptance. Thanks

Hmmm, I wouldn't call Ecco unappreciated , it is pretty much always listed as one of the best games on the Mega Drive.

If you want a really under rated water based game for the MD then I give you Bimini Run:

Hmm, goes to show I read all the wrong magazines back then coz I remember a lot of reviews being luke-warm which, was unjustified. We live and learn :)

Another one from me, the absolutely brilliant Devilish (also known as Bad Omen).

It's a wonderful mix of the pinball game Dragon's Fury (also known as Devil Crash) and Arkanoid or Breakout. The game has a lot of original features of its own too and should definitely be checked out, you can read my review of the game for more info.

That does look fun!  I'll need to check it out myself.

You should. There was also a decent version of it for the Game Gear.

This would be a great game to remake actually, seriously under rated.

SnakeEyes

This, I had it on import growing up and loved it. never realised until years later that decapattack was just a reskin.  A lot of people I talk to ( not here, a far more knowledgable bunch of people on here ) have no idea about this game.

Magical Hat no Buttobi Turbo! Daibōken (4/4)

as for games that were not released her, its a shame that a lot of people are not aware of these 2 games for the system as they stayed in asia

Definitely agreed on those first 3 and it's absolutely criminal that the 2 Taito games never got a western release in my opinion as I am sure they would have sold in their thousands.

Never played Insector X but only hear good things about it. It's one of those games that I keep meaning to buy but have just never got round to. I must correct that soon!

I don't know if you agree but I find Magical hat far more appealing to look at than Decappattack.
