Well, I think I like the Genesis version more than the SNES version.  The player sprites look better on the Genesis, sound also appears better to me.  I do prefer the green on the SNES version, though, as well as the scoreboard.

There are different pitch styles, so that is why the different colour :)

I played both back in the day and think the SNES version spanks the MD one, which is rare as far as sports sims go. I'd say that striker is the exception to the rule in this genre.

Have to agree, I had a lot of hands on time with both versions and can tell you now that in terms of playability the Snes was much much better.

And yes, it was an exception as the MD always seemed to be a better machine for sports games. ( except for thr mighty ISS deluxe )

Hmmm, I have played both and honestly thought the MD version was better.

Time to revive this thread as well.  Let's do another comparison between both consoles. The game, this time, is The Addams Family...

I quite like the SNES version, sounds a little better and seems to look a little better.  :42:

It's hard for me to choose.  The SNES does have better sound but I prefer the brighter colors of the Genesis/MD.

Have never played either version, but I loved this game on the Atari ST.

From watching the videos I am with Trek for the same reasons.

It's not a very good game anyway but this is probably a draw. The SNES version has much better sound but I prefer a lot of the graphics in the MD version, for starters the competitors look really weedy in the SNES version for some reason and the colours are more muted.

TrekMD

Yes, when I posted the videos I noticed the games are very close to each other.  I suppose that's a good thing.  The game itself isn't really spectacular anyway.

Addams Family Sega Genesis[/align:2ujv56qz]

Looks like two different games. One by Ocean and the other by Acclaim. That is cool. I enjoy finding different games for these two systems.

The Addams Family Values is the same game in both systems.  The Addams Family game is also the same game by different publishers.

Tough choice. The Mega Drive/Genesis version looks a little smoother and the Super Nintendo graphics looks sharper.

Since it is the Addams Family with a scary funny theme, I choose the Sega version. Although both versions would be good to own.
