That was and still so much amazing stuff on the c64, and although I never owned one, but I always keep finding new games to play on this platform every time I get stuck in, newly uploaded to my PSP CFW and have great fun going thought all these games I never heard of :9:

So just thought i would share my top 5 games on the C64, see what others thought.

1. Flimbos Quest
2. Wonderboy
3. KP Skips Action Biker
4. Renegade
5. Shoot 'em up Construction Kit

Difficult to have 5 favourites on what is my favourite games machine and difficult, if not impossible, to criticise someone else's top 5 due to the many factors that influence our personal preferences.  Not least because of irrational memories of games we once loved.  Still, Action Biker!?!?  Loved playing it but I couldn't see it in my favourite games.  Flimbo is brilliant and SEUCK is a very smart piece of software. Not really a game though.  I personally thought Renegade and Wonderboy were both pretty poor.  I preferred The Speccy version of Renegade and Wonderboy on the MSX.

So, here are 5 games that, right now, at this moment, are my top 5....

1. Maniac Mansion
2. Suspended
3. WOTEF
4. MYTH
5. Bruce Lee

If you like Renegade so much I am surprised you didn't post in the Renegade thread

I did read it, but didn't have anything to add. it was just a game me and my friend used to try and beat whenever he came round when i was ~8/9 years old. Too patchy a memory of the actual game play, just remembered it was fun to take turns on.

It's amazing when you read top 5 threads - and then read the lists that contain games that would never make your own top 5  :o
- WOTEF: Excellent game, but IK+ would be above this.
- MYTH: Another great game, atmospheric and great looking. (in my top 20)
- Bruce Lee: Yet another quality game, but for me not even close to my top 5....

My list (for you lot to say the same as me above  :)

1. Paradroid - great game and one that I almost included.
2. Delta - Didn't really grab me so I didn't play it much.
3. Impossible Mission - definitely top 10 and on a different day a top 5 game!  Fickle see.
4. Last Ninja 2 - another game I would in my top 10.
5. Monty on the Run - from what I remember this was great. Tight controls and great audio/visual.  I played it quite a bit, less than On The Run, and it'd probably be in my top 20-25.

Fin.... Paradroid! You really do need to play this.

If I did a top 5 now, it would be different to the top 5 I did earlier  :21:

Only seen a youtube video of it and wasn't too impressed.

I'm sure i can get a copy and give it a go though.

Thanks for the suggestion

There is a new hack of Commando for the Commodore 64 that makes a number of upgrades to the game.
