I have to say, I did enjoy my Vic-20 back in the day. It's where I really got my head around machine code
and assembler.

New year resolution for me is to get my A1200 up and running properly, I could buy a new working one but it wouldn't be mine.

In a surprise early christmas present a colleague at work has told me I can have his '030 processor with 5mb RAM for the price of a mcdonalds! Here's hoping it works....

New Years Resolution - PASSED  :24:) I have plans to capture some my music and animations (which were rubbish), and some of my friends animations/music (which were ace) and youtube them....

Advice on a postcard on hows best to do that but I have a funny feeling in my toe the Amiga is tailor made for interacting with and editing video.... :111:

I really need to get my Amiga 1200 connected up and start playing again. A resolution for next year maybe.
Did we get to see any of your stuff on Youtube yet WiggyDiggyPoo ?

The first thing I did when I got an Amiga again was go hunting for this

Happy times!

Ahem well the Amigas still working......

Ive had a mess around it, some weird stuff on there. Tried a few games but I seem to have lost the knack of getting old games to run on an expanded A1200.

Thinking about it long term I'd like 2 Amigas, 1 A500+ for the old games and 1 A1200 expanded (?) to muck about on.

Video capture is beyond me just now though. :-

@Lorfarius, Jesus on E's was my way of testing Amiga Emulators for ages, if that would run nicely then almost anything would. Great demo.

@WiggyDiggyPoo, what about playing it on composite into a PC video capture card (USB ones very cheap on Ebay, and will do the job on the kind of resolution for the Amiga)

All doable but budget is for other things right now, also almost certain the composite is broken on the Amiga anyway.... It'll happen just not soon.

I have had some good sessions on Frontier, its a little basic in execution but as a free roaming (as it'd be called now) game there's a lot available to do. Tried to play A-Train a little but found it so dull.... How did I play that back in the day lol

Something good is coming to Wiggy, only going to cost me some wine lol It's a secret yet though:-X

Am ordering some goodies from AmigaKit too, CF HDDs to start with.

Quote excited O:-)

Well it's taken me well over a year but I've finally gone and bought an A1200 again!  Looking back at my Youtube its been 5 whole years since I last had one. Went for one preloaded with CF HD and Classic Workbench again, also got an 8MB accelerator card on the way.  Seller for the Amiga told me its packed to the seams with WHDLoad games so won't even have to bother with setting it all up!

You beautiful bastard!!!! :77: how much fella? I wt to see pictures and possibly a new you tube video in celebration of 5 years since the last one so that I may hold a grudge against you for a while getting something I'd love to have in my possession.

Nice work Sergeant!!

Bah my CF HD died last night - wont boot, isnt recognised in WB if I boot from floppy...... I have a backup (2 actually) but still.

Think it may just be the A1200 (ha just!) as its not in a good shape.

Lorfarius

Did you take a backup to your PC?
