So pick a console, any console . . . .

What are those games you really wish had appeared on it, if things like licensing and money had been no issue, and why?

Pure bit of fantasy here . . . . . .

Lymx would have pulled off a bloody superb version!!!!

Damn straight!

The incredible scaling ability of Suzy would have replicated the graphics brilliantly and the superb sound quality of Mikey would have recreated the soundtrack in all it's glory.

A man can dream . . . . . .

My fantasy would have been:

Sega took the Lynx and ported:Afterburner, Powerdrift, Space Harrier, Outrun, Galaxy Force etc over to it, as well as keeping the Epyx games and they still went with G.G titles like Shinobi, Sonic etc

TrekMD

Mine will be rather obvious...

[/align:2h5ae15j]
Of course, there'd be no licensing issues with this one![/align:2h5ae15j]

Going to the final frontier, gaming...

Rogue Trooper

Planet Harrier on Dreamcast-Sega you really should have tried, if not there then the bloody Xbox......

Robocop (arcade) on MCD along with The Punisher....

DreamcastRIP

Tetris to have been signed as a handheld console exclusive by Atari for the Lynx.

... resulting in the Lynx performing as well commercially as it did critically
... saving the world from suffering the blurry monochrome crapfest that was the Game Boy
... thus boosting Atari's profits handsomely meaning they had a better chance of making Jaguar a success
... and I'm dreaming now!

(I suspect Atari's management would still have found a way to bungle marketing the Lynx successfully even with Tetris!)

Pretty much my next lot of choices!

Rogue Trooper

Always been a little surprised that given the Lynx hardware and fact Epyx pulled off a superb Afterburner clone in form of Blue Lightning, we did'nt see games in the same  'vein' as Galaxy Force, Powerdrift and Outrrun etc appearing.
Know Titus had a crack at a Galaxy force clone on ST/Amiga with Galactic Conqueror, but would have thought the Lynx was the idea platform for any developer wishing to do something along lines of any of sega's Scaler tech.coin-op's.

Turbo Sub is very similar to Space Harrier in many ways and uses the scaling chip to the max.

But it's an arcade conversion is it not? 1985 Coin-Op? was thinking more along lines of someone wanting to have thier own crack at an original take on arcade classics, kinda doing a souped up version of.....does'nt have the coin-op name, but clear what it's been influenced by.

TL

Nope. Lynx Turbo Sub is totally unrelated to the arcade game.

Atari Lynx - Turbo Sub

Gorf

I always wanted to bring this to the Lynx...

Played like this :111:

Gorf

Yeah that's it. Only Problem is the Lynx is 160 x 102 and Gorf Arcade is 320 x 204.
It would not look like that.
