Loved this in the arcade. Only home version I had was the 32X and while the graphics weren't quite as good it controlled perfectly!

I also loved this game on the arcades, even when Daytona was out I kept playing VR.

Now I have the MD and 32X version, the second wins hands down but the MD version was also excellent, I remember renting it several times.

Never played the PS2 version, it looks good but I wonder how it plays...
Don't be surprised, my broken English is legendary!

Yeah I was wondering what the PS2 version was like too. Took a quick look on ebay, found a cheap copy and bought it  ;D I'll let you know what it's like when I get it.

:-( I've had the Pal version of that collection on PS2 for months, try it now and then when PS2 is set up, but as not a racing fan, yet to try PS2 version.

I'm not a huge racing fan either but VR always stood out for me for some reason.
I honestly didn't even know this compilation existed so looking forward to trying it.

I have the superb Mega Drive version and the rather average Saturn version too, still a great game even today that inspired a veritable ton of clones!  :16:
