Quote from: "Shadowrunner"I was never a big fan of this game so an HD version doesn't excite me too much, but it's still kinda cool they're trying it. HD Sewer Shark on the other hand, sign me up  :21:

I have only played the Sega CD version. I like your picks Shadowrunner and I am not just saying that cause you are a moderator.  :77: Congratts by the way!

Here is something that may be of interest.  Have you seen the Classic Game Room reviews on YouTube?  Well, they now have a Kickstarter to celebrate 15 years of CGR.

I only found out because of a post they made on Google+.  I'd missed seeing this otherwise.

Just saw this and it looks pretty interesting.

They're making an NES game and a documentary about the process.
And then there is this really cool part,

QuoteNot only that, but this particular NES cartridge will be a bit unique.  Yes, there will be an 8 bit game that will play on the actual hardware as expected, but it will also house a more modern game on flash memory accessible via a USB cable.  The two games will be able to talk to each other, so when you unlock secrets or achievements in the NES game, it will alter the world of the modern game that is playable on Mac or PC.  With this, we are hoping to provide gamers with a truly unique, multi-platform experience!

It's already half funded and only a couple days in so it's looking really good!

We could make a "making of" video for RVG Blast!  All that would be needed is several time lapse shots of a pitcher of lager going down.  A bottle of aspirin emptying and an increasingly rubbish laden computer desk!

Looks great but sadly a bit pricey for me.
