Dear all;
I originally posted this puzzle on WoS and was treated to several very bright people assisting me. Basically I stumbled across an obscure piece of Basic that intrigued me.

The listing attached is from a mid-seventies mathematics convention and was written on a HP9830. In effect somebody enters a numeric date and the computer prints a rather random string-art type pattern.

This is an image from the original program: http://www.atariarchives.org/bcc3/showpage.php?page=188

I asked the big brains at WoS to convert the code to Sinclair Basic which they managed with great aplomb.

I was wondering, if anybody out there was able to do this for other systems? I am intrigued to see this piece of code running on a C64, BBC B and an Atari. Anybody able to help?  I have attached the original and Sinclair Basic code to this message.

I was bloody good with BBC Basic when I was a kid, not used it since though.

I am still quite warm to Speccy Basic though!
