List of Carboot Sales

Not sure if anyone here carboots? - I am thinking of starting.

My first one I was hoping to try was Battersea Carboot next time I'm up in London.

I do every now and then. Usually just the local ones hopping to catch a bargain.

well I did get to a carboot (more of a school fair it turned out)  - pretty poor - got Dracula Resurrection on PS1.  They had some PSP games but wanted £7 each for them so I passed.

Yeah i think people are getting more informed.

they were bog standard titles as well - probably go for £5 at GameStation

Essex is full of bootsales. Most of them tend to be fairly hit and miss but I normally come home with a game or two if not at least some other piece of nostalgic tat that my mrs will complain about.

I'm sure there are plenty more ootsales in Essex but here are the ones I go to regularly.

Canvey Island - Thorney Bay holiday park - Sunday mornings 7am until midday

Lazybones CBS Leigh on Sea - Leigh train station carpark - Sunday mornings 9am til midday

Dunton - Dunton Road Basildon Essex,SS15 4DP (just off the A127) - Sundays 6am til 1pm

Stevensons farm CBS Basildon - Stevenson's Farm (A127 wickford turn off), Basildon, Essex, SS14 3JH - 7am til midday

The two biggest boot sales are the Dunton and Stevensons farm ones but be prepared to go there early if you want to get the bargains before anyone else.

i still didn't make it to Battersea carboot - anyone ever been?  is it worth it?
